Case Study: Hammerton Store, Aberdeen

“On the road west to Deeside. Susan Watson’s love affair with life, not strictly speaking a deli, more a superior provisioner where essentials include art and cool pottery and travelling rugs. Wines, beers, cheeses and brands are carefully selected. Tables outside where you can snack and reflect how nice it would be to have a place like this in your neighbourhood.”

These words were written about Hammerton Store in Aberdeen by Peter Irvine in his book “Scotland the Best”. Hammerton Store opened on 7th December 2007 in  a beautiful building that was built about 1895. This delightful store is packed with goodies, delicious things to eat and give, and above all offers a warm and friendly welcome to everyone.
